The Palm Tungsten E handheld
At our Stand at Professional Electrician's ELEX
exhibitions visitors are given
an opportunity to try our software on a Palm handheld.
Almost without exception, they comment favourably on the ease of use and were convinced that a handheld would save time and would also improve the level of service which they offered their customers.
Following the exhibition, we have purchased a small number of Palm
handhelds for loan to potential purchasers of our tap-it software
products.
These will be loaded with evaluation copies of POP (PAT testing) and Electrical Inspector (for 16th Edition certificates). They may be borrowed for up to 10 days, a relatively short period, but one which is long enough for the software to be assessed. No charge will be made for the loan but we will require a MasterCard or Visa credit card number so that, if the handheld is damaged or not returned, we can recover £90 plus VAT.
